Among the things that are happening....
12 July is being marked as Sea Sunday. Not all of us live near the sea, but everyone of us is dependent on the goods it brings to our ports and the sailors who work on it. Sea Sunday is an opportunity to remember them and the Christian organisations that serve them, especially The Mission to Seafarers www.missiontoseafarers.org and The Apostleship of the Sea www.stellamaris.net

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? .... No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
